Holy Trinity Hurstpierpoint | Sunday School

Sunday School

Children form a very important part of the Church.

During the main Sunday service we provide a crèche area so parents may sit with their children whilst they play. Children over the age of three are welcome to join our Sunday School.

Our Sunday School meets in term time in the Guide HQ, near Trinity Road Car Park, at 9.40 am

We walk over to Church at around 10.30am to join the final part of the Parish Eucharist. After the service, the children can enjoy squash and biscuits.

Children from age 3 upwards are warmly welcomed at Sunday School. Each week we consider a relevant Bible reading, which is often acted out by the children. They also participate in prayer and singing before splitting into two groups for craft activities and discussions around issues raised in the reading. One group is for pre-school children and the other for those attending school.

On the 1st Sunday of most  months, the Parish Eucharist is less formal and is designed to involve children – the Sunday School takes part in this and does not meet in the Guide HQ
